Jakarta - In this era where every kind of information is always sought for, the ability to produce news becomes significant. Now everyone can write about anything, in which this style of writing is known as citizen journalism. With so many easily accessed social media, the types of news shared becomes wide and it might become too much done. This is why MER-C on Sunday 2 February 2014 organized a journalism training for its volunteers.

Held in MER-C head office, Firtra Ratory shared his experience and knowledge in TV One as a free lancer journalist. Silvano Hajid from Kompas TV and Hery Alamsyah from MNC TV were also present to complement the event on that day. 15 participants were expected to always be able to deliver quality news and able to fulfill the basic concept of journalism, which are What, Who, Where, When, Why, and How.
