Gaza — Rumah Sakit Indonesia di Beit Lahia, Gaza Utara, menghadapi lonjakan besar jumlah pasien akibat serangan brutal tanpa henti dari militer Israel dalam beberapa hari terakhir.
Serangan yang terus meningkat sejak awal pekan ini mengakibatkan ratusan korban jiwa dan luka berat berdatangan ke RS Indonesia.
“Seperti ini kondisi RS Indonesia selama empat hari terakhir. Pertumpahan darah tak berhenti sejak serangan Israel distrik sekitar RS Indonesia, banyak pasien berdatangan. Seperti ini kondisinya dalam sehari tidak kurang dari 50 syahid dan lebih dari 40 warga terluka,” ujar relawan lokal MER-C, Abed Al-Karim saat menunjukkan kondisi terkini di RS Indonesia, Jumat (16/5).
Abid juga menunjukkan ruang emergency yang sangat padat. Kondisi makin mencekam karena penjajah Israel melakukan penembakan artileri terus menerus, tepat di seberang RS Indonesia, di depan gebang timur, yang menyebabkan warga lari berhamburan ketika melayat jenazah para syuhada dari keluarga dan kerabat mereka.
Tak hanya di ruang emergency, kesibukan juga terjadi di ruang jenazah. Korban jiwa yang berdatangan tanpa henti membuat para petugas pemulasaran jenazah terus bekerja tanpa lelah.
Akibat situasi yang memburuk, warga sekitar dan sebagian staf lokal MER-C Indonesia terpaksa harus meninggalkan wilayah tersebut untuk mencari tempat yang lebih aman.

Escalating Aggression, Indonesia Hospital Becomes the Hope for Victims in North Gaza
Gaza – The Indonesia Hospital in Beit Lahia, North Gaza, is facing a significant surge in patients due to the relentless and brutal attacks by the Israeli military over the past few days. The escalating violence since the beginning of the week has resulted in hundreds of fatalities and injuries flooding into the Indonesia Hospital.
“This is the condition at the Indonesia Hospital over the past four days. The bloodshed hasn’t stopped since the Israeli attacks in the district around the hospital, with many patients arriving. In just one day, there are at least 50 martyrs and over 40 injured,” said Abed Al-Karim, a local MER-C volunteer, describing the current situation at the Indonesia Hospital on Friday (16/5).
The emergency room is extremely crowded. The situation is becoming increasingly dire due to the continuous artillery fire by the Israeli forces, right across from the hospital’s eastern gate, causing panic among the people, especially when mourning the deceased.
The morgue is also overwhelmed, with the constant influx of bodies keeping the mortuary staff working tirelessly. The deteriorating situation has forced some local residents and MER-C Indonesia staff to evacuate to safer areas.
The Indonesia Hospital has become the last hope for victims in North Gaza, amidst the escalating aggression and violence.
