Jakarta – As much as four MER-C volunteers went to Manado to delivered medical assistance to the victims of floods and land slide that hit the area. The team is made of four medical volunteers, where some of them are doctors from Makassar, Jakarta and Mataram.
In Manado, the team will coordinate with institutions handling local natural disaster and public health, as well as visiting the areas worst hit that highly need medical help. “The team is scheduled to stay for one week? But this will depend on the condition of the field and the team’s assessment,” explained dr. Arief Rachman, one of MER-C presidium.
