Gaza, Palestina – Serangan bom dari drone penjajah Israel kembali menelan korban jiwa di sekitar Kompleks Rumah Sakit Indonesia di Jalur Gaza, pada Minggu pagi waktu setempat (18/5). Seorang warga sipil menjadi target serangan saat berusaha melintasi bagian barat rumah sakit.
Korban dilaporkan langsung syahid di tempat. Namun, jenazahnya terpaksa dibiarkan tergeletak di lokasi selama beberapa jam. Tidak ada satu pun warga atau tenaga medis yang berani keluar dari bangunan rumah sakit untuk mengevakuasi jenazah tersebut, karena situasi yang sangat berisiko.
Baru setelah mendapatkan izin dari penjajah, relawan lokal MER-C bersama staf medis RS Indonesia dapat mengevakuasi jenazah. Setelah berhasil dibawa ke dalam kompleks rumah sakit, korban kemudian dishalatkan dengan Direktur RS Indonesia sebagai imam.
Jenazah kemudian dimakamkan di salah satu area kompleks RS Indonesia.
Sejak 13 Mei 2025, serangan penjajah Israel di Gaza utara semakin intens dan terus mendekat ke area RS Indonesia.
Serangan ini mengakibatkan layanan medis di RS Indonesia terganggu dan warga di sekitarnya terpaksa mengungsi ke tempat yang lebih aman.

New Attack Near Indonesia Hospital Claims Victim, Body Only Evacuated After Occupier’s Permission
Gaza, Palestine – A drone bombing attack by Israeli occupation forces claimed another victim near the Indonesia Hospital complex in the Gaza Strip on Sunday morning local time (18/5).
A civilian was targeted while trying to cross the western part of the hospital. The victim was reportedly killed instantly. However, the body was left lying at the scene for several hours.
No residents or medical staff dared to venture out of the hospital building to evacuate the body due to the high-risk situation. Only after receiving permission from the occupation forces, local MER-C volunteers and Indonesia Hospital medical staff were able to evacuate the body. After being brought into the hospital complex, the victim was prayed for with the Director of the Indonesia Hospital as the imam. The body was then buried in one of the hospital complex areas.
Since May 13, 2025, Israeli occupation attacks in northern Gaza have intensified and continued to approach the Indonesia Hospital area. These attacks have disrupted medical services at the Indonesia Hospital and forced residents in the surrounding area to evacuate to safer locations.
